How it works • Participantsdividethemselvesinto teams of 4 or 5 • Eachmemberofthe team willparticipate in 5 exercises, bothmuscular and fitness • Therewill be oneroundof tests onyour first trip, and oneonyoursecondtrip in Q2. • The medicwillcoordinatethe testing and receivetheresultswhenfinished. • The medicwill forward theresults to the HSE coordinator
Exercises • Plank Toes and under arms touching thefloor, back is straight. The time youcanstay in thispositionwill be recorded.
2. 90’ againstthewall Feet should be a shoulderwidthapart, knees bendt in a 90’ angle with back againstthewall. The time youcanstay in thispositionwill be recorded.
The milkbucket! Stand withyour arms out to the side, 90’ angle betweenshoulder and body. Hold 2,5 kg weights in each hand. Whenyoucannotmaintainthe 90’ angle theclockstops.
4. How far youcan run in 8 minutes, recordnumberof km with 2 decimals Remember to warm up first!
5. Rowing / cycling Dependingonwhatequipmentyou have onthe rig, eitherrowing or cycling. All teams onthe rig must do the same exercise! Yourecordhow far youcanrow / cycle in 8 minutes. Record km with 2 decimals
The competition The team withthecombined best improvement from the first tripwillwinthe INDIVIDUAL RIG COMPETITION Each team memberwillreceive a 1500 NOK giftcertificate for XXL – sports equipment
The rig withthecombined best improvementwillwinthe NORWEGIAN FLEET CHAMPIONSHIP The winning rig willreceive a ”travelling trophy” and all thefame and glorythatcomeswith it, untiltheyarechallengedagainnextyear.
