  4. At 2.66 miles long, Talladega is the largest oval track in the Sprint Cup Series and has seating for over 175,000 spectators Talladega holds two Sprint Cup races per year; The first race in the spring and the second in October.

  5. The names that the races are called vary due to the purchase of naming rights. The spring Sprint Cup Series race is referred to as the Aaron's 499 after the Atlanta-based lease-to-own chain.

  6. The "499" distance mimics the chain's rentals "For $99" per month. Despite the name, the race is over 500 miles in length.
