Admission LOCAL ADMISSION AREA -Butte -Lassen -Siskiyou -Colusa -Modoc -Sutter -Eastern Trinity -Plumas -Tehama -Glenn -Shasta -Yuba • Students must meet CSU admission requirements and eligibility index • 10th and 11th grade GPA used to determine eligibility • SAT/ACT test scores are required for admission U N A B R I D G E D The complete experience.

  4. ACADEMICS IMPACTED PROGRAMS 1.) Pre-Nursing, Nursing: Selection based on characteristics of the applicant pool, GPA, and SAT/ACT scores. 2.) Recording Arts: Completion of prerequisite coursework, minimum 2.5 GPA, written essay, academic performance and musical ability.   5. ADMISSIONS SELECTION PROCESS • Impacted to first-time freshmen • Applicant pool determines characteristics for admission offers • SAT (CR & M) or ACT is required regardless of GPA. Must take exam(s) by the December 2011 test date • Subject requirements must be met by graduation • No summer work will be allowed to meet admission requirements • It is the student’s responsibility to check his/her Portal account and campus • e-mail often, as these are the official communication methods of CSU, Chico. Admission IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES • Priority Filing Period: October 1- November 30 • Admission offers begin late January on a rolling basis • EPT/ELM must be taken by May, preferably earlier due to ESP • Chico Preview Day: October 22, 2011 • CSU, Chico Scholarship applications are accepted online from October 1- December 15 (prior to admission offers) • On-campus housing applications accepted mid April on a first-come, first-served basis U N A B R I D G E D The complete experience.

Admission IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES • Students must submit Intent-to-Enroll and $200 non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation Deposit by May 1 • All final, official transcripts must be received by July 15 (w/ high school graduation date) • EOP electronic Applicant Information Form must be submitted by November 30 • EOP letters of recommendation and high school transcripts due by January 31 • Summer Orientation sessions take place June-July (recommended) U N A B R I D G E D The complete experience.

CSU, CHICO New Information for Fall 2012 • Early Start Program (ESP): • Students must begin remediation the summer before fall enrollment • CSU, Chico will communicate with admitted students about ESP • Look for ESP “Smart Page” at www.csuchico.edu/admissions • ELM/EPT must be taken early (no later than May) • Students must notify CSU, Chico of how they will complete their required ESP participation • Students may complete ESP at CSU, Chico, other CSU’s or CCC’s U N A B R I D G E D The complete experience.
