  2. TshepangMashigo attended a choir director workshop for choral conductors with his choir leader, Mrs M Brits, from 30 June to 2 July 2014. This workshop was part of the first InnibosMendionKarino Choir Festival. He received a certificate of accomplishment. Hokkie: FeesdagteLydenburg. 16 Aug. u/13 played 3 games – lost one, drew 2 . The u/11’s won 1 game and 2 even. BaiedankieaanjufEljowatonsvergesel het. HokkieligavsLydenburg u/11 – lost u/13 - lost Hockey Chess Selati Open (ABC) tournament 2014 was a great way to practise. Thanks to the princi;al, parents and teachers for their support. Braham v d Walt (A) , PalesaMokoena (A), VuyoMokwena (B) , Marshane Ground (B), Theo Mogale (B), TarciaMashego (C), TshepisoMndawe (A), Cassandra Murphy (B), Jade Murphy (B), Andre de Kock (A), HlamalaniMasinga (C), LebogangMashile (C), Xavier Dennison (A). The Bergland open on the 16 August was a great day for chess, 22 children took part at the ABC tournament . Our greatest achievement was Theo Mogale who came 2nd on the B category with 4/5 score, Sibusiso was the best newcomer with 315 score in the B category. Koorkamp: Op 1 en 2 Augustus het ons ‘n voorbereidingskoorkamp by die skoolgehou. It was fun and hard work. Thank you to all the choir members who attended and gave their best.   3. It is time for our Gr. R friends to go to the “big school”. Remember the 12th of September. It is our Gr 1 Open Day. Don’t miss out on a wonderful day! Eisteddfod: Congratulations to our choir who sang beautiful. They really worked so hard. DankievirJufMarietjie se hardewerk en tannie Pauline. Sabie’s got Talent: a New show in the school and it is already manifesting a lot of talent in our learners. 20 learners made it to the final that will be held in term 4. Thumbs up to our learners who made it this far! Sêrkompetisie:Aan die einde van verledekwartaal het ons ‘n sêrkompetisieaangebied. Die klasse het teen mekaarmeegeding. Each class had to prepare 2 songs. One of the songs had to be in an official language e.g. Afrikaans or English. Alhoewel die tradisionelesêrreëlsniegegeld het nie, was onsverbaasoor die kreatiwiteit en energiewaarmee die personeel en deelnemersvorendaggekom het. We had three judges as well as the audience who helped us to choose the winners. The winner of the junior phase was Gr 3A and the senior phase Gr 4A. The Gr 5A was so close to Gr 4A that they needed to be mentioned.

Die besteuitslae was LutendoModau (10 jr) 1ste plek, Marco J van Rensburg (12 jr) 5de plek, KyloSeteria (11 jr) 7de plek Danielle Gouws (10 jr) 6de plek en Chantelle Willis (14 jr) 7 de plek. Onslandloopatlete het op 20 Aug deelgeneem op Lydenburg (Liga 4 – KringKampioenskappe). Die volgendeleerlingegaandeurna die volgenderonde: Marco J van Rensburg (7de), Danielle Gouws (7de), LutendoModau (3de), KyloSeteria (8ste). Baiegeluk! Krieket Krieket: Sabie vsMalelane 0/11 en 0/13 verloor. Die krieketkliniekwatgehou is het die seunsbaiegehelp. Sabie vsSkukuza 0/13 wen met 33 lopies en o/11 verloor met 5 paaltjies. Mini Cricket: Numbi 16 Aug Die Gr R,1,2 mini krieketspanne het goedgespeel. Gr 2 won both, Gr R and Gr 1 lost.
