Bahrain: 4 operators (AT&T, BT, Cable&Wireless, Bahrain Telecom) Hong Kong: 8 operators (AT&T, BT, Equant, Cable&Wireless, Infonet, MCI, SITA, SDS) Russia: 1 operator (Equant) China: 1 operator (China Telecom) South Korea: 8 operators (AT&T, BT, Daicom, Cable&Wireless, Equant, Infonet, MCI, SDS) India: 1 operator (Tatanet) Main Operators

  4. Importance Ranking • evaluated by Importance Level of 1 (no of importance) to 5 (very important) • Network Reliability (4.922) • Network Availability (4.918) • Fault Reporting Process (4.911) .... 17. Value for Money (4.628) …. 22. Reaching Difficult Locations (4.525)

  5. Analysis • Network Availability: AT&T is outstanding, Equant is excellent. The gap is 30% between the best and the worst. Except with China Telecom and Bahrain Telecom the users are satisfied with Network Availability. • Value for Money: The best operator is Equant (excellent). AT&T is good. The users think the services of BT, Bahrain Telecom and China Telecom are poor value. The gap between the best and the worst is ca. 25%. • Reaching Difficult Locations: Two operators, BT and Equant scored above the Benchmark (40.29). The worst operators are China Telecom and Infonet. The gap between China Telecom and Equant is about 20%.
