ADBs Solar / SG Project Pipeline • ADB financed 73MW Solar PV IPP in Thailand (Asian Largest in 2010) • ADB supports India to develop 1.5GW Solar Park at single points (To be financed in 2011) • ADB supports Maldives to develop solar diesel hybrid IPP in a rural island (2011) • ADB supports Bangladesh to develop national 500MW solar energy development plan • ADB supports creation of Regional Task Force (RTF) on 30 June 11– Real PPP Co-chairs: EPIA, GE Energy, Suntech Board: Global Private Sector, Local Utilities Advisor: Gov of Maldives, India, US, Bangladesh, IIT, Univ California, Donors etc..)
