Type IV burst during passing of active region N 249 through solar disk drift rates of fiber burst

CONCLUSIONS • fiber bursts are similar to usual Type III bursts • sources of fiber bursts move through plasma more uniform than average coronal plasma • electron beams propagate towards and outwards the Sun and their linear velocity is about 0.3 c • density of electron beams, which are responsible for fiber bursts is approximately the same
