  2. Why bother? One of main purposes of time in school is to get you ready to be part of society. Work is a large part of society and will be a large part of your life Use the work experience week to INSPIRE you to find your future pathway in life.

  3. Ideas and Inspiration Retail Working with children Trades – joinery electrician builders Medical – doctor nurse midwife laboratory work • Media – radio presenter reporter • ICT- office work, designers

  4. Ideas and Inspiration Finance Working with the land Police Food and drink

  5. Armed Forces There is an opportunity for students to take part in a weeks residential with the army in June. • This has been a very popular option in the past. • The dates are yet to be confirmed. • There are usually about 8 places available As soon as information comes in it will be made available.

  6. How to go about it Start researching CBEC Website Find own job Make choices Complete forms Return to Mrs Buxton By 24th February 2012
