Background • Geography • Indonesia is an archipelagic country with approximately consists of 17 thousand islands • It is strategic location enables Indonesia to have an important role in International sea transportation, however • It is also vulnerable for illegal traffic within in remote areas, as well as potential of accident by trans boundary movement of hazardous wastes and their disposal .
