Prior to First Day • Notify current staff that person has been hired. • Assign a department employee to act as a “helper” for the new employee. • Prepare work location.
First day of Employment • Introductions to the rest of the department (staff meeting.) • Brief tour of the office and building. • Orientation by immediate supervisor.
