  1. Program a Gas EndPoint

  2. SENSUS AR5001 • You will need a AR5001 or AR5002 Handheld unit connected by a serial cable to a 900 Unit Field Tool. Connected to port 1 or 2 on the handheld unit.

  4. SENSUS AR5001 Press Enter to get to the next screen

  5. Press Enter to get to the next screen

  6. Press Enter to get to the next screen

  7. SENSUS AR 5001 After you choose comport Press Enter – Escape - Escape

  8. SENSUS AR5001 Press Enter to get to the next screen

  9. SENSUS AR5001 PressEnterto get to the next screen

  10. SENSUS AR5001 Use this option to edit your defaults Press Enter

  11. SENSUS AR5001 Choose the optionsyou will need for your service then hit the ECS key

  12. SENSUS AR5001 Choose Meter parameters and hit Enter

  13. SENSUS AR5001 Choose the F5 key to start programming

  14. SENSUS AR5001 You will need to enter the current Meter ID and hit Enter

  15. SENSUS AR5001 Enter the Initial meter reading and select the resolution hit Enter

  16. SENSUS AR 5001 Do you want to continue choose yes and Enter

  17. SENSUS AR5001 The programming will take about 50 sec.

  18. SENSUS AR5001 Radio Successfully Actived Press Enter if everything looks ok

  19. SENSUS AR5001 Press Enter to show details

  20. SENSUS AR5001 Down arrow to the next page to see all options

  21. SENSUS AR5001 Make sure all options are correct ESC and F5 for another unit

  22. SENSUS AR5001 SENSUS AR5001 Place unit on Sensus logo Make sure the 900 tool is placed on the Sensus logo to start your programming

  23. SENSUS AR5001 SENSUS LOGO Place the 900 tool on the Sensus Logo

  24. SENSUS AR5001 Place unit on Sensus logo After you place the 900 tool on the endpoint, hit the F5 key on the handheld unit, to start programming the endpoint
