    3. Why is a shared vision important? Provides the framework that guides all decision making, planning and action Sets the ambitions of the organisation for the future Provides inspiration of an ideal destination shared by everyone Awareness of the direction which the organisation is headed Signals and clarifies a new direction Generates commitment

    4. What is the KCCG vision? Our vision: To deliver an excellent health care system meeting the expectations of our community, patients, practices, providers and staff through a never ending search to improve the health and wellbeing of Cornwall’s population. To achieve authorisation with the support, trust and confidence of our community, patients, practices, providers and staff. Our guiding principles: We will expect all KCCG members at every level to use these guiding principles in their daily work and in relation to others: Patients, staff, and providers We will listen and act on the views of our staff, patients & providers through proactive engagement and being open, honest and transparent in our communications and decision making. Clinical excellence We will deliver clinical excellence by improving clinical pathways across providers through co-development and collaboration with clinicians and allied health professionals. Delivering excellence We will implement robust, best practice project, commissioning & improvement processes using data, information & benchmarking to make the right decisions and deliver our priorities. Leadership We will set the standard, lead by example and empower our practices, staff and providers but support and mentor them through difficult changes and decisions. Financial balance We will deliver a whole systems financial management approach towards ensure financial balance across the overall health care system.
