Tottenham Hotspur Foundation & EnabledCity • Using money more efficiently • Joining up services around the individual • Helping people manage their health better, improving the quality of their lives • Reducing DNA's / hospital admissions
Inclusive design Inclusive design Exclusive design Margaret Hickish, Paralympic Advisor London 2012 Team “Inclusive Design (Universal Design) is “the design of buildings, products and/or services that are accessible to, and usable by, as many people as reasonably possible without the need for special adaptation. For a design to be inclusive it must respect the needs of people with mobility, visual and hearing impairments, learning difficulties, and people from different cultural and religious backgrounds”

Embeddable client pages Grouping maps together and easily share across websites This is a really good idea: an app from Enabled City for "accessible, editable route maps" in London, aimed at people with physical and learning disabilities, as well as people speaking English as a second language. That means step-free routes for people using wheelchairs, and photos taken along each route to aid navigation.

PAN LONDON PILOT PROJECT July 2012 – Feb 2014 Future Improvements Key Successes • We have supported 230 individuals up to Feb 2014. • 202 males and 28 females received support through the project. • 57 unique opportunities (Clubs and Leisure opportunities) have been accessed by the young disabled people. • 19 different sports have been engaged by the delivery agencies as pathways for the young disabled people. • A greater number of organisations need to be trained to deliver the project • A higher percentage of girls should be a key target • Further consultation is required with disability charities and disabled people organisations • A higher level of engagement is required with National Governing Bodies of Sport • The SM Project requires a more strategic marketing approach.
