    1. OSHA Subpart R Steel Erection

    2. Before authorizing the start of steel erection… Concrete footings, piers, and walls has attained the necessary strength by testing, 75% of the intended min. compressive design strength or sufficient strength to support the loads imposed during steel erection

    3. Pre-shift visual Crane inspection Safety devices, boom angle indicator, boom stops, anti-two block devices, load moment indicators Wire rope Hydraulic fluid levels Tire inflation Ground conditions (no water) Level ground *

    4. No Riding of the Headache Ball

    5. No employees are to work under suspended loads

    6. Multiple lift rigging

    7. No more than 8 floors from the erection floor and the permanent floor

    8. No more than 4 floors or 48 feet of unfinished bolting or welding above the uppermost permanently secured floor

    11. Covers for Roof and Floor Openings
