  4. Documentary Discussion • Did it make you think more about what you eat? Why or why not? • What were the most/least influential aspects of the film? • Did the filmmakers persuade you to be on their side? • If no, where did they fall short? • If yes, where did they succeed?

  5. Fact Checking • Locate the sources Food, Inc. draws on for its facts and figures • Are these sources reliable? Are the data valid? • If you suspect a source of bias, locate another source with more objective information • Does it agree or disagree with the source used in the film? • Big Picture Question: Do documentary filmmakers have an ethical obligation to report the most objective information available? Why or why not?
