Create a new question bank • Create a Test Bank with all questions you would possibly use • recommended first!
Type of questions available • Click Question - New on the toolbar • Choose type of question • True/False • Multiple Choice • Yes/No • Completion* • Matching • Problem • Essay* • Plus others
Creating a New Test Bank from Scratch • Choose the type of question(s) • Type in your questions • Type in the answers • Save Test Bank to your documents • Be sure to create an ExamView folder • Be sure to name the Test Bank • Example: Sole Proprietorship Test Bank
From your Test Bank Create a Test • Create a new test using a Wizard • Select the questions to use • Save Test • Print Test and Answer Strip • Multiple versions • Scramble questions (recommended) • You grade Test using Answer Strip
Is there a Textbook Bank available for the course I teach? • Check to see if the Textbook you use has a Test Bank • Start – Programs – Test Generators – ExamView Test Generator – Type in the name of the Test – Search the Textbooks listed
Create a new test using a Wizard? • This is the quickest way to create a test for your students with step by step process. • You will be selecting which question banks you want the Wizard to choose from and how many of each question type you want. • The QuickTest Wizard does the rest!
Create a new test using test bank • To build a test, choose a question selection option on the toolbar located at the top of the screen to select questions. • Select Randomly • Select From a List • Select While Viewing • Select By Standard • Select By Criteria • Select All
Create a new test using Test Bank • Choose the questions from the Test Bank • Add any questions • Edit any questions • Save Test to your documents in a folder • Be sure to create a folder (ExamView)
Testing on-line • Create a Class (ExamView Test Manager) • Student Names and Student ID #’s • Create your Test (from Test Bank) • Save Test (to your documents) • Create a Folder on the Global Drive – ExamView – Tests - YourName • Publish Test to Test Player on LAN • Complete Step by Step process • Global Drive – ExamView – Tests - YourName
