Changes in Legislation Florida Statute 100.001 states: • The supervisor shall designate a polling place at a suitable location within each precinct. • The precinct shall not be changed thereafter except with the consent of the supervisor and a majority of the members of the board of county commissioners.

  3. Redistricting • Florida redistricting is the redrawing of political boundary lines every ten years, to reflect changes in population/ representation. • This includes changes in: • Congressional • State • County/School Board • Municipal

  5. Elections Since 2001: • The Supervisor of Elections is required to submit voting history by precinct. • Vote by mail continues to increase. • Early Voting Sites increased from 1 to 4.
