FPIN History • First Conceptualized in 1998 • Initially Funded by AAFP grant to University of Missouri • Incorporated as a non-profit member organization in 2001 • 140+ Family Medicine residency/department members FPIN is an educational organization teaching the principles of evidence-based medicine through scholarly writing activities.
