Lead (Pb) Surveillance & Rule Making • Coordinating ABLES/EPHT reporting • 2009: Exposed workers in Colorado • Source: BLS Occupational Employment Statistics • Estimated 65,300 (VT methods) to 99,500 (Haz-Map.com) workers • 2009: Surveillance data • 808 persons: 55 =10-24 ug/dL ; 24 ≥ 25 ug/dL • Proposal to BOH to require reporting of adult lead tests ≥ 10 ug/dL • Outreach to labs/employers regarding testing
