Multimedia course • Result of the curriculum reconstruction in 2000 • Last year it was held for the 4th time • Planned as a 1 semester course (15 weeks) • 2h per week theoretical lectures (held by docent d-r Danilo Gligoroski) • 4h per week laboratory classes(tutored by assistants m-r Ljupcho Antovski and Vangel Ajanovski) • In 2004/2005 there were 60 students • divided in 3 groups for laboratory classes

Course Syllabus • W1: Multimedia course overview (lab introduction, semester project assignment) • W2,3: Image capturing, editing and production (GIMP, Adobe Photoshop) • W4: Sound recording, editing and production (Audacity, MP3 compression, Sony Soundforge) • W5: Cartoons (Macromedia Flash) • W6,7: Video recording, editing and production (Virtual Dub, DivX and XviD compression, Adobe Premiere) • W8,9: Multimedia integration (Macromedia Director) • W10-15: Media – audio and video; project integration and management; final production and delivery

Semester Projects • The students organize in teams • Each teams has to develop a multimedia CD • Promotional material • Learning material • Entertainment • The team has to create a complete product together with a cover and marketing materials • The team has to organiza a public release presentation
