Greeting – Adjective Greeting Choose an adjective that begins with the same sound as your first name and introduce yourself by saying: “Hello, my name is (adjective) (first name).” ( Example “Dynamite Dave”)

Say Something Turn to “The Power of Language” (pages. 3 – 6) With your partner, decide how far to read. Each partner reads the section and stops. Each partner says something about the passage (summary, question, insight, key idea, connection, etc.) Repeat the process until selection is completed.
