  1. Select Online Databases

  2. Select Science in Context

  3. Select Science in Context

  4. Now you can start a basic search

  5. As you type your “keyword” search the database is trying to guess what you want

  6. Look here to see what type of resources you get

  7. Type your “Keyword” in the Search Box and use the dropdown menu to select “Keyword”

  8. Be sure to select “Full Text Documents”

  9. Select “Videos”

  10. Be sure to select the first video

  11. Click here to access the interactive video from NOVA

  12. You are no longer in the database. You are now on the NOVA website. Click here to start Read this first

  13. Click “Next” to navigate through the video Once you are finished close the NOVA website

  14. Follow the “Cookies” to return to your search results

  15. Select Audio to access the NPR interview with UC Berkeley Professor Tim White

  16. You can read the transcript or listen to the audio

  17. When listening to the interview you will be leaving the database and accessing the NPR website Once you are finished close the NOVA website

  18. Now select “Magazines” You will notice there are 27 magazines

  19. Under the article title you will see the title of the magazine and the date of publication

  20. Under “Tools” you will see multiple options Be sure to “Email” the article for further reading

  21. Under “Tools” you will see multiple options Seclet “Citation Tools” to cite the article
