(Cont…) • Never meet someone you’ve met in a chatroom • There are criminals who prey on unsuspecting internet users • These people use the internet as another way of hurting young ones • i.e. sexual predators • Always remain vigilante • Report anything to your parents or teachers that make you feel uncomfortable Return to Ethics WebQuest
Ethical Issues • Bullies exist in cyberspace too • Anyone can be a bully • By sending a hateful email anonymously, you too can be considered a bully • Even though it’s anonymous, it can still have a damaging effect on the receiving end Return to Ethics WebQuest
