Tell Your Friends About the Ambassador Program • In 2011, the Fair Board created the Ambassador Program to promote the annual Fair & Rodeo. • All Yamhill County junior and senior high school students with a 2.5 GPA are eligible to apply. • Three Ambassadors are selected and are awarded $1,000 college scholarships.

4-H Program • Started in Yamhill County in 1904. • OSU Extension youth development program. • Open to all youth K-12. • Over 500 youth & 130 volunteers participate. • 4-H Goals: Head = clearer thinking Heart = greater loyalty Hands = larger service Health = better living • Many activities, such as: cooking, sewing, animal projects, robotics, shooting sports.

FFA Program • Chartered in Oregon in 1929. • FFA Goal: Help middle & high school students develop premier leadership, personal growth & career success through Ag Education. • Our 7 school districts have FFA Chapters. • Over 200 youth participate. • Many activities, such as: animal projects, public speaking, parliamentary procedure, crop science, tractor mechanics. • Motto: “Learning to do, Doing to learn, Earning to live, Living to serve”.
