Problem? • Education was unfair to people of color • The school conditions were poor and they were not treated equally. • White people did not want black children in their schools.
Impacts and Causes • Impacts: People caused violence and thought that the treatment was unfair • Causes: White people did not want their children schooled with black children. They also it was unnecessary for black people to be educated.
Solution • They made certain school for only black children. • They ended up building 2 schools for people of color.
Outcome • Eventually people of all race and color are able to go to the same school together.
Education today • The teachers are well educated • There are multiple numbers of schools across the US • People of all races are able to attend schools together
Questions • Why did the White people not want Black children in their schools? • Why were there issues in educating Black children? • Did the issue of not educating Black children ever get resolved?
