L is for Lucy Lucy, the main character in the book, has nine months to complete three impossible tasks.
M is for Motherhood At the age of 18, Lucy changes from being a normal teenage girl to being a mother.
O is for Optimistic For the hundreds of years that the Scarborough family has suffered, Lucy is determined to break the curse. With Zach and her family by her side, Lucy is sure she will be able to figure things out.
P is for Plowing As Lucy’s last impossible task, she must plow, and plow, and plow; using a wheel barrow to help her along the way.
Q is for Question Lucy always has this question in the back of her mind, “Will I solve these three impossible tasks?”
R is for Revenge Revenge is the only thing that Zach can think of, getting revenge on the person who made his future family’s life so difficult.
S is for Seamless As Lucy completes the first of the three impossible tasks, she steps back and looks at the seamless shirt, or more like vest, that she has created.
T is for Time Time is a key factor as it plays a part in the Scarborough girls’ lives now and back, hundreds of years ago.
U is for Unknown Unknown is the fate for which Lucy will face; will she go crazy, or will she beat the curse.
V is for Value Lucy values her sanity, which pushes her harder to complete the tasks.
W is for wrath The Elfin King’s wrath increases as Lucy completes her tasks.
X is for XX XX is the gene of Lucy’s baby, she knew long before the ultra sound.
Y is for Young At such a young age, Lucy and Zach have to grow up and take on responsibilities that the been passed onto them because of the Scarborough family curse.
Z is for Zach Zach has always been Lucy’s childhood friend, but now he is going to be much more, a father.
