The Challenge • Draw a sketch of what you want to see when you look out the window or door of your ideal learning space. • If you walked outside and stood in the middle of the street you would see outside your classroom window, what would you see?
Criteria • Perspective, according to Brunelleschi • 3 or more buildings • At least one creative element • Be able to communicate and identify the math lingo as you discuss your sketch with your partner and Mrs. Powers
Math Lingo Point: has NO dimension; represented by a small dot Line: has ONE dimension; represented by a straight line with 2 arrowheads, showing the line extends in 2 directions endlessly. Plane: has TWO dimensions; looks like a parallelogram; REMEMBER: a PLANE extends without end in all directions.
