Two levels of Funding College funds • $750 disbursed through college • Maybe used anytime during fiscal year • Greater flexibility in how funds are spent Faculty Development Committee funds • Yearly maximum per faculty member (AY 16-17 $1440) • Awarded three times a year (as reimbursements) • Funds specific to faculty development activities
Award deadlines • Last Friday in Septemberfor activities between August 1 and November 30 • Last Friday in Januaryfor activities between December 1 and March 31 • Last Friday in Aprilfor activities between April 1 and July 31
Faculty Development Changes Move to two categories of activity • Presentation/research • Attendance/participation Change to food expenditure reimbursements (forthcoming)
How to apply for funds Submit a proposal by the appropriate deadline • Be as specific as possible when explaining activity • Include all estimated expenses with documentation After the activity: • Complete the project evaluation form • Complete expense report form • Tape small receipts to 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper • Submit expense report, all original receipts, and project evaluation form to Sarah Fedirka within two weeks of activity
