How do writing and reading connect us? Describe how we would be different, as adults, if our knowledge was only based on what we experience first hand.
Life is different for children in poverty in other nations. Some do not have appropriate schooling, clothes, shelter, and even food.
Their life experiences are SO limited because they do not have access to luxuries we take for granted. • Schooling opens your mind. It teaches you how to THINK and provides you with ample opportunities to learn about the world around you, in order for you to THINK CRITICALLY, in order to SHAPE the future in front of you.
Being Connected • Being connected to your world is to take OWNERSHIP in it. Simply EXISTING here isn’t enough. • Learn it • Analyze and Evaluate it • Take action and become a part of it
