  6. Library Manager Dashboard • What is a Dashboard? • A dashboard is a user interface that organizes and presents information in a way that is easy to read. • What is the Library Manager Dashboard? • Gives the administrator a quick view of their resources in a simple format.

  9. Destiny and RDA What is RDA? • A new standard for resource description and access. • Designed for use in a digital environment Why this Process? • As of March 31, 2013, the Library of Congress no longer creates MARC records according to AACR2 rules; they comply with RDA.

  10. Destiny and RDA • Additional Tags added to bibliographic and authority records • Ability to promote an AACR2 record to an RDA record (one at a time) • Select preferred cataloging method

  11. Homeroom Enhancements We have enhanced several features to include information regarding the patron’s homeroom: • Homeroom appears on receipts • Homeroom appears on hold notices • Homeroom field added to checkin message screen • Email Hold notices to Homeroom Teachers

Holds Enhancements We have enhanced the holds functionality based on enhancement requests from our customers: • Place holds on more than one copy of an item • No holds on lost copies • No holds on copies that are hidden • Do not allow holds on copies that are available • Relate ISBNs for holds

Follett eBooks We continue to make it easier for patrons to use Follett eBooks • Identification of Follett eBooks • Identification of Follett unlimited eBooks • Ability to search for just Follett ebooks • Follett eBooks hidden on the FollettShelf will not be viewable in Destiny • Option to turn off FollettShelf link • Required integration with the FollettShelf

FollettShelf Integration • Follett eBooks ordered by and delivered to the district can be automatically added to all sites and automatically hidden. • District FollettShelf administrators can create patron types, policies and circulation types that can now be pushed to all FollettShelves in the district. • New Order Invoice Report • Patron can place eBooks on hold using FollettShelf. • District level reporting • List of Titles Report (PDF or Excel) • eContent Usage Statics (HTML) • eContent usage Report (PDF or Excel)
