  4. Percent of Economy at Peak Exportation Bananas were above 80% of exports in 1930
  5. Owner of Production By 1912, the Honduran banana trade was controlled by American Banana Companies Vaccaro Brothers and Company United Fruit company CuyamelFruit Company.
  6. Production Banana’s were being produced for local consumption since 16th century -Mid 1860’s they began making small shipments to the city of New Orleans  By 1912, American Banana Companies established plantations
  7. Exportation Honduras’s transportation was revolving around the exports of goods to North America.
  8. Workforce The workforce associated represented a portion of wage owqners. Before the strike in 1954, there were approximately 35,000 people working for the UFC Railroads were used as main transportation system to keep bananas ripe and fresh.
