LA CAÍDA DE HOSNI MUBARAK Y LAS TRANSFORMACIONES EN EGIPTO Trayectoria de Mubarak: • Nació el 4 de Mayo de 1928 en Kafr-el Moseilha (Egipto). • A los 20 años de edad obtuvo el título en Ciencias Militares. • En 1950 ingresó en la academia de la Fuerza Aérea Egipcia. • Ascendió rápidamente y en 1964 fue nombrado representante de la delegación militar egipcia en la URSS. • En 1967 se convierte en Jefe de la Fuerza Aérea Egipcia, siendo responsable de algunos de los combates que se suceden en el permanente conflicto con Israel. • En 1975 es designado vicepresidente de la República por Anwar el-Sadat. Tras el asesinato de éste a manos de islamistas radicales en octubre de 1981, accede a la presidencia del país y del Partido Nacional Democrático, habiendo sido reelegido en 1987, 1993, 1999 y 2005
