Demand Based Camping Rates • Statutory authority given to raise or lower camping rates and daily admission rates within a set range, with DNR Secretary approval. • Demand Based Camping Rates put into effect in February, 2018. • Raised rates: • 38 properties. • Lowered rates: • 36 properties. • Based on occupancy AGENDA ITEM # 4B1, Chris Pedretti, Section Chief

Demand Based Pricing • Revenue Comparison • FY 18 Quarters 1 & 2 (July 1 – Dec. 31, 2017) • FY 19 Quarters 1 & 2 (July 1 – Dec. 31, 2018) • Increased daily admission rates at Devil’s Lake, Peninsula, and Willow River State Parks. • 11.3 % Increase in Annual Sales at the 3 properties. • 3% increase in annual sales systemwide • Over 17 million visitors in both 2017 and 2018 AGENDA ITEM # 4B1, Chris Pedretti, Section Chief
