  3. “Father of The Constitution” Madison was a very big campaigner for the ratification Madison was the Father of The Constitution Co-wrote essays that promoted the ratification.-Approve, pass, agree with 2/3 of our delegates had to ratify in order for the constitution to be used. Known as the Federalist Papers

First Amendments • In 1789, James Madison was apart of the newly created House of representatives • Introduced first amendments • Now known as Bill of Rights • Originally offered 19, only 12 were passed by congress • These rights guarantee our individual rights. • Freedom of speech, religion and press.
