  3. My Education • I went to Frank McCoppin Elementary School and Presidio Middle School. • I’m currently a junior at Independence High School. • My favorite topics to learn are English and Biology. Frank McCoppin Elementary School Biology Literature Independence High School

  4. My Background • I live in the Richmond district in San Francisco. • I was born and raised in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, I’ve never had the opportunity to travel out of California. • I’m Chinese and one-eighth Caucasian (from my father’s side).   5. My Family As a baby yanking on a girl’s hair. • My dad had been hospitalized for half my life and passed away last year. • I’m an only child. • My extended family lives in Boston, Massachusetts. Toddler at an amusement park. Flower girl at a wedding with my cousin (Vincent). My Mom and I

  6. What I Did This Summer • Interned at the San Francisco Fire Department Headquarters, Physician’s Office.

  9. Important Issues • Pollution, because it contributes to global warming. • Endangered species, because I’m an animal lover. • Poverty, because I can also grew up in a low-income household.

  10. My Future Plans • I plan to attend a 4-year college (e.g., University of California campus). • I want to become a psychologist, dietitian, or child life specialist.
