2005 Survey on the Training Needs of Managers and Supervisors in the Coming Three Years • Survey directed by the Committee on Management and Supervisory Training, Vocational Training Council • Survey conducted from May till October 2005 • Interview of Senior Executives of 1,300 companies in Hong Kong ( Success rate 89% ) covering different industries: Banking and Finance, Hotel and Tourism, Manufacturing, Retailing, Information Technology
Use of Survey Results • Competencies of managers and supervisors • Cover organizations with Mainland China operations • Results can be used to benchmark training needs of an organization and the development of training programmes to meet the needs
