Overview of Presentation • Things that you can do now, through the first few months of college, to assist your child’s transition into college. • Becoming aware of the developmental tasks of college students in order to assist them throughout their years in college.

Noticing Changes • Change in Behavior (sleep, appetite, substance use, studying, class attendance) • Loss of Interest in activities that were pleasurable • Isolation • Talk of Suicide or Death
