  2. Something More in Austin is the premier lifestyle company in Central Texas, and Founder and CEO Julia McCurley says that she has built her business one successful couple at a time.

  3. Something More in Austin really does offer something more than ordinary dating services. There is nothing “cyber” about it; it is a personalized, one-on-one service operated by a woman who holds a certification in matchmaking from the Matchmaking Institute. The Matchmaking Institute, as Julia McCurley knows was founded in order to create a code of ethics in the otherwise wide-open matchmaking industry.

  4. After spending eighteen years as a recruiter and Business Development Executive in the IT industry, she decided to follow her true calling and start matchmaking professionally. And Something More in Austin was born.

  5. “One couple at a time,” says Julia McCurley, “we are changing the romantic landscape of Austin, from being known as the best place to be single to be the best place to find love.” And she has a formula that works. Since first opening the doors to Something More in Austin in the summer of 2009, she and her business have facilitated the introductions for some two thousand couples, many of whom are together to this day.
