Why Did he Decide to become an artist? • Van Gogh took a suggestion from Theo and took an interest in art and Theo’s recommendation was to study with Willem Roelofs , who persuaded Van Gogh to attend the Royal Academy. He used to stop Buying food to buy Paint for his paintings • His old art teacher died, his brother got married and his friend Gauguin left him.

I wonder if Van Gogh was still alive would he be insane or nice? • I think that he would be nice because when his old art teacher died he sent his old art teachers wife a painting which might make her rich and he was always trying his best in everything he did even though he only sold about two paintings and three drawings

  7. What would have happened if Gauguin didn’t leave Van Gogh and Van Gogh didn’t cut off his ear? • I think that Van Gogh and Gauguin would have made master pieces together and Vincent wouldn’t have chopped off his ear.
