Tuition-Free Colleges in America • College of the Ozarks: Free Tuition, have to work 15 hours on campus • Curtis Institute of Music: Audition, if accepted full-tuition scholarship • Berea College: Free Tuition, have to work 10 hours on campus, can earn $4.10 to $7.25 • Alice Lloyd College: Free Tuition to people who live in Central Appalachian Territory • US Military Colleges: Free Tuition, have to serve after graduation

  5. Proposal • More scholarships • Variety of work and volunteer opportunities on and off campus • No tuition. Room and board are acceptable, don’t exceed $5,000 per semester • Colleges providing textbooks for classes, pay security deposit and return books at the end of the semester, receive that money back as long as the book was returned in an acceptable condition. • The cost of the security deposit would be far less than the cost to rent or buy the textbook.
