  2. This where you have seen 4.100 in the real world. Four out of 100! My number in a unique way!

  3. These are statistics for 4.100 Statistics  On the one- hundredth day of school I had missed four days of school. That means I was gone four out of 100 days! Decimal numbers, such as O.6495, have four digits after the decimal point.  Each digit is a different place value.   The first digit after the decimal point is called the tenths place value. There are six tenths in the number O.6495. The second digit tells you how many hundredths there are in the number.  The number O.6495 has four hundredths. 

  4. For Valentines Day I gave out 100 pieces of gum. Four of them were four years old. So four out of 100 were bad. This is another place you have seen 4.100! In a hundreds chart, and four are colored in! This is more about where you have seen 4.100 in the real world!

(answer: one box) Marry is making cookies. The recipe calls for half a cup of sugar. The is taking the recipe times three. How many cups of sugar does she need? (answer: one and a half cups) There are 24 people in Bob’s class. There are 12 muffins. How much will each child get? (answer: half a muffin) Here is a sequence. 0.100, 1.100, 2.100, 3.100, 4.100, 5.100, 6.100, 7.100, 8.100

  7. Multi step problems Bob asked his teacher to stay in for recess for four minutes and 100 seconds. How many minutes is that? Now take the answer and times it times four. Answer: 21min.60sec.
