BR #81January 29, 2013 • Write the following notes down: • Be sure to skip lines to allow for proofreading. • Look for the following mistakes in your essays when proofreading: • Spelling, punctuation, capitalization, using transition words, all sentences must have subjects and verbs, comma before a conjunction (and, but, so) if it is joining two complete sentences, do not start sentences with “because” “and” “but” “so”, 7-10 sentences in each paragraph, thesis statement that states what two things you are comparing and how you are comparing them.

How did you “get over it?” • Write a paragraph describing your perfect school. What would the classrooms look like? What would the gym, library, cafeteria, and computer lab look like?
