  2. Ontario Community Colleges • 28 community colleges in Ontario • receive funding from the provincial government • each college will often have more than one campus (over 100 total locations in Ontario) • full-time and part-time studies available

  6. What are You Applying for? • Foundation program – 1 year • Diploma program – 2-3+ years • Degree programs – 4 years • Certificate programs - 12 weeks - 1 year • Applications-based programs for degree and diploma programs in specific and specialized areas

  8. How to Apply • Application is made through the Ontario College Application Service http://www.ontariocolleges.ca • 5 choices  $95 (max of 3 at any college)

  9. Timelines • Fall – Feb. 1, 2015 – college applications are done online @ www.ontariocolleges.ca • Feb. 1, 2015 – applications received by OCAS on or before this date will be given equal consideration by colleges. After this date, it is on a first-come, first-served basis. -also earliest admission date for all applicants • May 1, 2015 – applicants must confirm offers of admission
