What is Dropbox? Essentially a storage “cloud” for documents. • Easily share folders with other students. • You will be required to upload certain assignments to a folder shared between you and Ms. Nicholas. • You can access it from ANY computer by going to dropbox.com • Unlike using the P-drive, you don’t have to go through Vmware to access it. • Unlike using a flash drive, you can’t lose it! ***My suggestion is to save to your P:Drive, and then upload to dropbox as a back up and to access items at home. ***Use your epals email and regular password.
Dropbox Instructions • Copy and paste this link into your address bar http://db.tt/Dz2qk6voto get to dropbox.com • Create an accountwith your school EPALS email. (Use same password) • **SIGN OUT. SIGN BACK IN. • Create a folder for each of your classes. • Upload any of your P-drive files to your newly created folders. • (Only upload this year’s files) Yay for organization!!!!!
Dropbox To Do: Advanced • Create a folder called “Inbox Science Lastname” • Share that folder nuetzela@centergrove.k12.in.us • (You will need to sign in to your epals to confirm this) • (I will only ask for SPECIFIC assignments to be turned in here). • If you share too much stuff here, then my account will fill up to quickly. • Optional: Update “Online Student Resources.” in your “Inbox Science Lastname” folder and begin saving your usernames and passwords Yay for organization!!!!!
