How Scoring Works • Class of 4 animals • Rank from most desirable to least desirable (placing) • Each placing has three pairs • Top, middle, bottom Johnson, 1997
How Scoring Works • Each pair is assigned a cut • Assigned by the officials • Based on difficulty of placing • 1 - difficult placing • 3 - challenging, but can be found • 5 - easy • 7 - extremely easy • The total cuts cannot add to more than 15 Johnson, 1997
