  3. DVLF strives to increase philanthropy & grantmaking to support the needs of the LGBTI and straight-allied communities. DVLF advances philanthropy for the LGBTI community through endowment building, • fundraising, outreach & education. MIssion Delaware Valley Legacy Fund

  4. Currently, over $950,000 • Combination of restricted and unrestricted funds DVLF’s endowment Delaware Valley Legacy Fund

  5. Fundraising plan • Individual solicitations • Special events • Grants • Corporate gifts Fundraising initiatives Delaware Valley Legacy Fund

  6. Past grantees include: ActionAIDS, Attic Youth Center, Equality Forum, New Hope Celebrates. Etc. • Racial Equity Initiative (REI) • Grants provided to LGBTI people of color organizations grantmaking Delaware Valley Legacy Fund

  7. Technical Assistance to nonprofits • Educational workshops about such issues as planned giving • Community resource Outreach and Education Delaware Valley Legacy Fund

  8. Continuing to grow our endowment of over $900,000 • Granting over $45,000 to LGBTI people of color organizations through our REI program • Increasing and enhancing our grantmaking • Creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising initiative 2011 Goals Delaware Valley Legacy Fund
