Part ONE = Screen shots and Part TWO covers the more Technical information, especially for those who already have used a PC based T&A system before. Turbo Time - Software history. • The SQL Turbo Time software has evolved from it’s little brother, TurboTime – PRO (uses a Paradox database) and that version has over 20 years of “in the field” experience behind it. We at Turbo Time continue to strive towards making this package the leading computerised Time and Attendance software package available anywhere in the English speaking world. • With over 2500 sites installed in all types of industries. • Our largest site has 4 500 employees using 35 Hand scanners to clock In / Out. • 2nd largest site has 2 500 working and our smallest site has only 4 employees. (If one person is absent, then that is a 25% absenteeism for that day!) • SQL TurboTime is designed to cater for unlimited amount of Shifts, Departments, Cost Centers and Report centers. Public Holiday Group, Annual Leave Group. It has a built in Scheduler and a Work Cycle roster pattern to automatically detect what shift the employee is on (Day, Afternoon, Night shift) it caters for those unique T&A requirements, including Smoke Breaks, Working Away, Single Clocking for a day. • Overseas sites include Seychelles (Heinz International) 2 500 employees on one site (24x7x365), Italy, Uganda, Namibia, Ghana, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, France, Belguim to mention a few. There is sites all over South Africa in all sorts of companies such as Murray & Roberts, Denny Mushrooms, PepperdewInt, Piemans Pantry, CMC Grinrod and the list goes on & on. • Hardware • On the hardware side, we havelinked to Fingerprint readers, Hand scanners, Facial recognition, Proximity readers, iButton touch tags, 3 of 9 barcode, Swipe cards and who knows what we will be able to do in the future? But one thing you can bet on is that we are always at the forefront of technology. • We are currently working on automatically emailing staff a notice that they failed to clock yesterday! (300 employees each with their own PC!!) Other reports are automatically emailed to department heads. • *NEW* • We have created a Report scheduler. Select a Report and anemail target address.Automatically emails the reports selected, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, such as send a Exception Report to the Department Head for yesterday on a Daily basis and on a Monday, send a Weekly report for last week. 5. SQL - SoftwareMain Screen The Main Screen is easy to use and uses drop down menus for your convenience. The next few screens will show some of the options available from these drop down menus. 6. SQL Software - Employee Master screen Employee Master File. This allows you to add, edit or change:- • Employee Number, • Name, • Payroll number (link to VIP, etc.) • Hourly Pay rate, • Absentee Reasons, Leave, Sick, Study, etc. • Department, , • Cost Centre • Report Centre, • Public Holidays (Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, Contractor, even Casual, etc) • Leave Group, (15 days, 18 days 21 days, 30 days, etc) Add as many as you want. • Include weekends & public holidays? • Card number / Fingerprint number • Work Cycle, (Day, Afternoon, Night shift) • Date Joined (Sick leave / Annual leave) • Promotion Date(recalculate the leave module) • Terminated Date. (closes and saves file.) • Notes for this employee- Warnings, Sick, IOD • Cancellation Date. Day they left the company. • Book leave in advance. Study/Annual leave, etc. • The Sick note automatically calculates the days available from the date started. • Family leave is limited to 3 days a year. • Annual leave is calculated on a daily basis according to the holiday group. i.e. • 15 days per year.

7. Why use SQL Multi User? Single User versus Multi User? Most companies allow their supervisor to make changes to the time cards, such as authorise late overtime or early overtime, worked through lunch, etc, because they know what is happening at the workplace. Instead of writing memos and sending them to the HR department for approval, they can now can go to the nearest PC and approve the over- time for their staff quickly and easily. Supervisors can also check up on their staffs tardiness. All Late Arrivals, Early Departures, Absenteeism, Missing Clockings, etc are highlighted for quick reference. They can view any of the 199absenteeism codes such as Absent Friday, Injured on Duty, Absent Monday, Sick Note, A.W.O.L. and even add more, i.e. Court (& why?) Traffic / Witness / Maintenance / Accused, etc. They will be able to produce their own reports at their own workplace. This removes the frustration of having to walk to HR, interrupt someone to ask them for a report. This also allows HR to get on with their work without constant interruptions.

8. SQL -SoftwareLog On The SQL Multi User version allows you to add as many “Users” as you require. They can all Log on simultaneously onto your PC network. The system “Administrator” can decide what functions to allocate to each “User” Before they log into TurboTime, they must enter their User Name and Password. The “SQL TurboTime” version comes complete with “Audit Trail”, indicating “Who” changed “What” and “When”. Each supervisor can only view and edit those employees who reports to him. Depending on that “User” level, they can be allocated one or more functions such as Authorised Late overtime and printing reports, but they cannot Add, Edit or Delete clockings, employees, etc. Each user is totally user definable as to what they can and cannot do.

9. SQL – Software Absenteeism Reasons • There are 99 Absenteeism codes. This allows you to record all the oddities that can occur while running a business, such as: - • “Sick Note Handed In Pay 100%”, • “Injured on Duty Pay 75%”, • “Absent with Permission- Do not Pay” • “Compassionate Leave, Pay 100%” • Warnings “First, Second,Final Warning etc.” Absenteeism codes

10. SQL – Software Absenteeism Reasons • Employee / Master Records, Allows you to :- Add, Edit,Suspend, Delete * Employees Edit & Add * Departments * Costs Centres * Report Centres • Once these fields have been set up correctly, you can view and edit your employee data. Also you can filter your Reports by selecting one or more of the above groups.

11. SQL – Software Master Records • Master Records - Lists all your employees and they can be sorted by Employee Name, Number, Payroll Number, Department, Costs Centre or Report Centre. The Work Cycle, Hourly Pay Rate and Card/ Fingerprint number, are all included for easy sort reference.

20. PART TWO – TECHNICAL.This covers some of the features, functions and how to setup the system. The Turbo Timesoftware package has over 12 years of “In the field” development behind it, making it exceptionally powerful, yet it is easy to use. With 100’s of sites out there using Turbo Time you know you have piece of mind knowing that Turbo Time is stable and reliable. It is a user driven product. The many good features indicated so far in Turbo Time has came from years of software training. From time to time we notice there is another good feature that can be added, we stick it on our Wish List and make it happen. When there is an easier way of doing things, then we change the software to do so. The less keystrokes, the quicker it is to use and drive the software. That is why this product has become one of the leading Time and Attendance software packages available. With over 500 sites installed in all types of industry, we know that 99% is simply NOT good enough for you. Here is another good idea we added:- Link to Multiple databases around the country from HQ. Point to the database you want to link to, Enter, and it is as easy as that.

21. The SQL Multi Userallows you to decide “Who” Can “See what” and who can “Do What” when they Log In. It is easy, Allocate a name & password. Select what functions they have access to. Just point and Tick. SQL -SoftwareSet up the ”User Rights.” Only those functions selected will be activated when that “User” logs in. If the icon is greyed out, then that function is not available to that user. At any stage “Users functions” can be added or removed, giving you total control over each and every user. You can take that a step further by allowing that User to only view those selected Employees from the list. You can sort and select by:- Department Cost Centre or Report centre. Only those employees selected can be viewed.

23. SQL – Software File – Printer Set Up Set up - Log On / Log Off Add more Users, allocate password to the user with limiting “User “Rights.” Change passwords. Printers_Set up the Printers for both the Dot matrix of Laser printers on your network. The other options are self explanatory and are used during the installation & set up phase. • How is this for setting up a printer:- • Select a Font, • Lines per page, • Point Size, • Spacing across & • Spacing between lines!

24. PART TWO – TECHNICAL.Setting up the Shifts. If you ever worked with any T&A system, you will know that the SHIFTS are probably the biggest single factor that effects the rest of the system. There are Seven shift folders. Each folder has its own set of parameters that canbe adjusted by the YOU, the user. • * Details. Fixed, Flexi shift? • * Normal Start Stop Times. • * Rounding UP / Down. • * Overtime calculation. • * Public Holiday Rules. • * Additional Time. • * NEW…..Special Rules. • * Each page has its own built in HELP. • This allows you to set the parameters and when the Government (or you) change the working rules, you make the necessary adjustments without having to call a technician to do it for you.
