In a bid to acknowledge IISMu2019s industrious efforts, the institute was conferred with the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar for Development For Sports by the Government of India. On the occasion of National Sports Day 2020, IISM was given this honor by the Hon. IISM Receives Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar – IISM World International Institute of Sports Management with its definitive steps is the source to the revolution of Sports Management education in India. Established in the year 2010, IISM has been on a concrete mission of nurturing aspirations of more than 1800 sports lovers who wished to become Sports Management professionals and contribute immensely towards the growth of the sporting sector in India. IISM receives Rashtriya Puruskar from Shri Anurag Thakur at National Sports Awards ceremony In a bid to acknowledge IISM’s industrious efforts, the institute was conferred with the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar for Development For Sports by the Government of India. On the occasion of National Sports Day 2020, IISM was given this honor by the Hon. President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, in a virtual ceremony. This year, we received this award by the hands of Shri. Anurag Thakur, Hon. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports at the National Sports and Adventure Awards ceremony held in New Delhi. Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni, Founder Director- IISM were present in the ceremony to accept this honor. Lakshya Institute, Army Sports Institute, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Ltd, Air Force Sports Control Board, the coequal recipients of Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar were also honored along with us and were present at the venue to receive the award. We make sure that we learn from our mistakes and evolve with upgrading ourselves each time. IISM over the years, has set benchmarks and is what makes IISM stand apart. Reaching where we are today wouldn’t have been possible without our team, students, alumni, their parents, collaborators, associates and everyone else who have believed in us. We are grateful to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sports Authority of India and Khelo India for their unconditional support towards us. Our Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi envisions India to be a multi-sport playing country. This dream of our PM is becoming a reality each day as we witness changes towards betterment of the sector. IISM has always set precedents and shall continue to work towards our mission diligently. We breathe sports and would keep on nurturing the future Sports Managers of India.
