  1. The Balance Between Street and Formal -- The Menswear Catwalk Analysis… =

  2. Overview The Louis Vuitton A/W 21/22 collection inspires from Stranger in the Village written by James Baldwin in 1953 and brings us charming designs under the theme Art of Travel. Taking the abstract marble as the setting of catwalks, the unique design brings both street and futuristic feeling, and also the hip-hop vibe. The abstract broad silhouette, marble color application, bright check patterns and metallic colors provide inspiration to men's dressing collocation this season. The gender-free pleated dress is more like Virgil Abloh's new attempt to get Louis Vuitton out of the old conventions. video video

  3. Key Color -- Juniper Green is the main color tone of this season's Louis Vuitton A/W catwalk collection. This color tone can strengthen the luxurious textures. And the combination with tonal colors, classic black&white and placement red can show unique tonality.

  4. Key Pattern -- Renewed Classic Pattern

  5. Key Pattern -- Renewed Classic Pattern The classic Monogram patterns are presented on clothes through 3D jacquard, metal sequins, prints and towel embroidery to increase the delicate design sense. Key Silhouette -- Broad-Shoulder Design

  6. Key Silhouette -- Broad-Shoulder Design The broad-shoulder items based on neat tailoring keynote are presented through various textures, patterns and details. The sculptural visual effect of shoulder pad outerwear increases the uniqueness and breaks through the conventions.

  7. Key Detail -- 3D Decoration The 3D flowers, dolls and architectures can also be integrated into the advanced garments. Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower, St. Peter's Cathedral of the Vatican, Manhattan and other landmarks around the world are all dressed on models.

  8. Key Item -- Floor-Length Outerwear The A/W clothing which used to present masculine power through broad shoulders and silhouette is endlessly extended to the floor-length, which breaks through the convention of traditional trench coat and formal dressing. The combination of texture changes and super long designs better presents the collision between tradition and modern.

  9. Key Item -- Innovative Design Different textures, patterns and details reach a balance between innovation and practicality. The formal clothes with transparent texture, 3D scarf and metallic colors seems strange but blurs the border between street and formal. Notably, the package this season is also a highlight to increase interestingness.

  10. Key Item -- Pleated Skirt

  11. Key Item -- Pleated Skirt Louis Vuitton this season challenges the pleated skirt with gender-free pure color, Scottish check and monogram to break through the traditional concept. Injecting various culture elements into the fixed image can change the stereotype and underline the brand new styles.
