Who’s Involved? • 34 countries involved including; U.S, Canada, UK, Mexico etc.
Objective • To promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the globe. • To make life harder for those who undermine a fair and open society i.e terrorists, tax dodgers, crooked businessman
Benefits to Global Trade • Bring together trade policy makers • Discuses current trade policy issues • focuses on issues of importance only
Limitations • Reports show only formal incidence on taxes for employers and employees • The final economic incidence could be quite different, due to the difference of gross wages between employer and employee.
